Pelosi shouted down at DREAMers news conference

Morality Is Negotiable for Mr. Trump

'We need to have a conversation, but that was completely one-sided.

Many Americans are sympathetic to the "DREAMers" and favor a resolution of their status that allows them to remain in the U.S. The more people who see videos like this, the less support the "DREAMers" will have.

LifeZette's editor-in-chief said that the scene the illegal immigrants created with Pelosi Monday offers further evidence that Trump's emphasis on enforcing the rule of law, cracking down on illegal immigration, and promoting national interests is needed desperately.

"Where was your resistance then?" the protesters said to Pelosi.

MATT: A lot of the reports have come out with this amusing subtext: After this whole campaign that was all about cultural grievances and rural white working-class people and how only Donald Trump understands NASCAR fans who live in the woods somewhere, Donald Trump is actually a rich guy from Manhattan, and he gets along really well with Chuck Schumer, who is also from NY, and [with] Nancy Pelosi, who grew up in Baltimore and lives in San Francisco. The decision by President Obama in 2012 to enact the DACA program was a consequential day for me, as I believed this was the first step to earn my American citizenship. At Friday's press briefing, Sanders said no deal on DACA had been finalized and the White House would release "what our specific priorities and principles are in that front over the next seven to 10 days".

Some had seen DACA as a bargaining chip to get enough Democrats to vote for a USA taxpayer-funded big border wall between the US and Mexico that the president had promised his base. "That was what the arrangement was.' So we think we made progress in it", Pelosi said. Pelosi issued a statement that began, "Tonight, Leader Schumer and I had a productive meeting with President Trump where we agreed to a plan to work out an agreement to protect our nation's DREAMers from deportation".

"I know some people think this hurts the cause of undocumented folks, but undocumented people will always be scapegoated", Luis Serrano, one of the group's organizers, told the San Francisco Chronicle. That is a positive, compassionate move that should bring support from those who have worked hard to protect the 800,000 people who now live in daily fear of deportation from the only homeland they remember. This game by the left has continued even though the U.S. Supreme Court has repeatedly slapped down and reversed the liberal lower court rulings and held in favor of Trump, often unanimously.

"Yes or No?" they chanted back at her as she asked: "To what?"

The group was apparently angry that Pelosi and Dem. Sen. minority leader Chuck Schumer have been negotiating with the president on immigration, in order to save the "Dreamers" from deportation. Campos said her parents brought her to the United States from Mexico before her first birthday. Barbara Lee and Jared Huffman, Pelosi called on Congress to immediately pass a new version of the DREAM Act. "It's all or none". She was scheduled to appear Monday afternoon in Sacramento for a similar event. "There's still a lot of things to resolve".
