Pep Guardiola Discusses Alexis Sanchez Rumours

Has Guardiola Got His Man: Arsenal Star Alexis Sanchez On His Way To Manchester In $100 Million Deal?

Claudio Bravo has said Chile colleague Alexis Sanchez "went from happiness to bitterness" when his deadline day move from Arsenal to Manchester City collapsed.

Arsenal remain interested in completing a deal to bring Raheem Sterling to the Emirates and the Manchester City star is open to a move to London, according to the Daily Mail.

City hope Ederson has not suffered a serious injury, but Pep Guardiola said he may miss Wednesday's Champions League game at Feyenoord with Bravo set to step in.

City were heavily linked with a move for the Chile worldwide during the transfer window, with reports suggesting that Sterling could have been used to help snare Sanchez, something Guardiola was quick to rule out.

'They talked to me and I said "no chance. zero chance".

"He is 22 years old, an English player and he has a lot of gap (potential) to improve". Us goalkeepers know this can happen but you never expect it.

City are believed to be one of the five clubs who voted against a proposal to shut the close-season transfer window in England before the start of the season, which was voted through by Premier League clubs on Thursday.

Bravo and Sanchez had been preparing for a World Cup qualifier against Paraguay in Santiago when Arsenal accepted a £60 million City offer for the forward.

And the Daily Mail say Arsenal have real hope of signing Sterling, who has 34 global caps, as he is open to a return to London and the chance to play more regularly under Wenger.

We have yet to find out just how long the rest of the Arsenal playing career of Alexis Sanchez will last.

"This time it was not possible, but hopefully we will have him here in the future".
