Bryan Singer's 'X-Men' Show 'The Gifted' Has its First Teaser

Fox has ordered to series The Gifted, its first series produced in conjunction with Marvel Television. The show, now officially titled The Gifted, was picked up by Fox as part of the network's 2017/2018 lineup.

"Developing a Marvel property has been a top priority for the network-and we are so pleased with how Matt Nix has led us into this thrilling universe", Fox Entertainment president David Madden said back in July when the show was announced. Oh, and Variety noted that Nix, who is writing the show, also wrote for Burn Notice, making me even more excited for this series than the teaser trailer. "This show flips that on its head, in the sense that it doesn't exclusively take place inside the world of people who are already X-Men and know that world".

That super-secret Marvel series from director Bryan Singer has finally been revealed.

Watch the first promo for The Gifted, below. After being shunned by the government, the family teams with underground network of mutants where they have to fight to survive. From Burn Notice showrunner Nix, the drama revolves around a suburban couple (Amy Acker, Stephen Moyer) whose ordinary lives are rocked by the sudden discovery that their children possess mutant powers. Nix and Singer, along with Lauren Shuler Donner, Simon Kinberg, Jim Chory, and Jeph Loeb will all serve as executive producers.
