New Nokia 3310 3G Rumor Killed By HMD Global

Nokia 7

If the reports are indeed true, then the upcoming Nokia 9 can be used to generate stunning audio recordings along with the recorded video. Now, HMD Global, a Finnish company holds the rights to the Nokia brand and is trying aggressively to enter the mobile phone market by bringing smartphones as well as feature phones.

Fresh off the launch of its newest line of smartphone, Nokia and HMD Global are once again rumored to be on the cusp of releasing another line of high-end smartphones.

Nokia 3310 was supposed to launch in the second quarter of 2017, and it looks the phone is now up for pre-orders in Germany and Austria, although it will officially go on sale on April 28. That price translates to around €93, which might have sounded realistic if it were a 3G Nokia 3310.

Nokia, with the new Nokia 3310 brings a strong flavor of nostalgia! Nokia 3310 has more colour variants available now. However, we will not be the cheapest smartphone brand in the market.

In an interview with PCMag India, Ajey Mehta, Vice President of HMD Global in India admitted, "We cover 10s and 1000s of stores and we have our own distributor network, we see that as a huge strength". After making a debut at the Mobile World Congress 2017 (MWC 2017) alongside its brothers Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6, Nokia 3310 is finally coming home (no, we are not talking about India yet). However, Nokia has ditched the contemporary pin charger and features at micro-USB port on the revamped phone. It has a long battery life and HMD Global claims that it can deliver 22 hours of talk-time, which is 10 times more than the original. The battery life is said to be nearly 10 times more than the original one.

In terms of specifications, Nokia 3310 features a 2.4-inch QVGA display along with 2 GB RAM. To attract older fans and legions of new ones, a more modernised version of the classic "Snake" game will also ship with the device.
