Meet the nanny at the center of Mel B's crumbling marriage

Stephen Belafonte and Mel B

Mel B has accused ex-husband Stephen Belafonte of brutally beating and sexually exploiting her throughout their rocky 10-year marriage, RadarOnline.com has learned. The singer and America's Got Talent judge allegedly claims in the order that she was in an emotionally weak state when she married Belafonte in June 2007 in Las Vegas. She says she began to see a pattern emerge: whenever she achieved success of any kind, he would "beat me down to let me know he was in charge".

She argues that she was unable to leave him since he "threatened me with violence and threatened to destroy my life in every possible way. destroy my career and take my kids from me".

Mr Belafonte, a 41-year-old Hollywood film producer, has told celebrity website TMZ he denies all the allegations, saying he is "distraught" by "how this is going to affect our children".

This is the stunning nanny who was center stage during Mel B's marital nightmare. When she tried to resist the encounters, he threatened to release sex tapes that she is featured in.

Former Spice Girls star Mel B isn't wasting time in offloading her marital home after filing for divorce - she has dropped the price by £800,000.

"I believe Respondent took my passport so as to intentionally delay my travel such that I would not see my father prior to his death", she reveals in the papers. She claims he started choking her and slammed her down onto the hardwood floors during a jealous rage. He also cheated on her with their own nannywho got pregnant. Eventually, Stephen forced the nanny to get an abortion. Brown filed for divorce in March 2017, having separated from Belafonte in December 2016, according to legal documents obtained by People.

TMZ asked Belafonte about the allegations on camera, and he said that the allegations against him are untrue. But we'll have our day in court.

Another allegation Mel B made is that he has a firearm, which in his case his illegal since he has a prior conviction of domestic violence against another woman.
