A New Patch Coming Thursday, Future to Address Most Concerns

After the irregular reception of "Mass Effect: Andromeda" by players and critics was expected a reaction from BioWare, one that took place a few days ago when those responsible for the title said they would announce the future of it this month.

There's a sleek white assault rifle, which looks something like a cross between an M-8 Avenger and an M-96 Mattock, in some of the Mass Effect: Andromeda trailers.

Mass Effect Andromeda has been under fire since its release for its plethora of bugs and awkward animation.

Taking into account interest shown by the community, BioWare has stated that it might add the weapon to the game with a future update. Between its lackluster same-sex romance options for men and clumsy handling of a transgender character named Hainly Abrams, many fans felt like BioWare had cut corners, leaving them behind in the process. Aspects like the freaky dead eyes of Human and Asari characters in Mass Effect: Andromeda are being changed, along with improved lip sync, and "Fixing Ryder's movements when running in a zig zag pattern". Cyberscan creates digital scans of a person or objects to create 3D models in-game.

EA often outsources work and animation from one internal studio to others, so this is nothing new for the publisher. Over the next 2 months, they'll be rolling out additional patches which will go even deeper. The X5 Ghost existed merely as a prop but lead designer Ian Frazier explained that they are thinking of turning it into a useable gun.

Mass Effect Andromeda is, sadly, a rather buggy game.

Some players are complaining about how BioWare overlooks glaring issues and even tries to discuss including new elements instead of having the problems fixed.

For multiplayer, over the same timeframe, we're going to continue to build on the APEX missions that have been running since launch.
