The Last City Has Fallen in First Destiny 2 Teaser

Enter Destiny’s Age of Triumph and Celebrate your Legend on March 28

Destiny 2 was recently revealed with a logo followed by a short teaser video featuring Cayde-6. Here's everything you need to know.

In the teaser trailer, he is talking and drinking at a bar but, at the end, the frame pans out to show him in the midst of a battle.

The trailer switches back and forth between Cayde-6's storytelling in what appears to be a bar and how he run and gun his way through several fights with "lots of shooting". Cayde-6 has a story to tell in the Destiny 2 reveal trailer tease!

Just like with the original Destiny, the sequel will have some content coming to PlayStation 4 before Xbox One. That said, one thing about Destiny 2 won't be changing - PlayStation 4 owners will still get all the best goodies.

We had been hearing about rumors regarding a Destiny 2 for a while now, but earlier this week developer Bungie finally made the official announcement. We won't see yearly releases like Call of Duty or Battlefield. With today being the last update to the now 3-year old Destiny you would think that you would have to wonder what's next.

When is the Destiny 2 release date? The leaked poster was emblazoned with a September 8, 2017 release date plus information regarding a beta that would begin as a PS4 exclusive. The same deal extends to Destiny 2 as well. We should know more on March 30th. Keep in mind that only your character's appearance can be transferred to Destiny 2, after Bungie previously confirmed that the likes of power, possessions, Eververse items, and in-game currency won't carry forward into the follow-up. However, there are no real details about this sequel available, except for a teaser image of the game's logo which has been tweeted by its official Twitter account.

It is thought that Destiny 2 will come this autumn, after being shown properly at the E3 videogames trade show in June for the first time. So while we were wary of their veracity at the time, the similarity and proximity between the two reveals are practically begging for our consideration.
