Dad speaks about infamous interview ruined by his adorable kids

Mom Jung-A mentioned that usually, the kids find the door locked and wander off, but she quickly noticed that the door was open and she went running with her now-famous ninja stealth. "She was in a hippity-hoppity mood that day because of the school party", Kelly said.

After the clip circulated the web, many noted that some viewers and news publications had assumed the woman in the clip was the children's nanny, rather than their mother. "Then I knew it was over", Kelly told the newspaper.

"We were pretty uncomfortable with it", said Professor Kelly.

Although Kelly was straight-faced and rather embarrassed during the untimely interruption, and Jung-A was in a blind panic trying to swiftly extricate them from the room, it looks like they both have seen the amusing side of things in retrospect. She explained that it's been a "little bit stressful" but they are now "handling it".

He said their first response was to feel mortified and that the BBC would never call again.

He even apologized to the BBC, but they actually asked him if they could release a clip online to show they were just a normal family.

"I hope people just enjoy it, and not argue over this thing", said Kim, "because I'm not [the] nanny, that's not true".

On Tuesday, the interviewee, Robert E. Kelly, spoke out about the hilarious mishap, alongside his wife and two children, the surprise guests who "videobombed" his interview on BBC World News.

It was, Kelly told the newspaper, "a comedy of errors".

The post was shared by almost 240,000 people and received more than 43,000 comments, most of which thanked the news network and the Kelly family for a good laugh.

And, in an incredible confirmation of what many people had suspected, the Journal reported that Kim had not realized that the children had wandered into their father's home office - until she saw them on the TV screen.

Mrs Kelly added that she thought "the best part" of the video was when his wife, Jung-a, came skidding through.
