Jones tweaks side for Scotland showdown

Marler has been named in Saturday's side to take on Scotland at Twickenham in the fourth round of the RBS 6 Nations.

The pack is unchanged but Billy Vunipola comes into the replacements after his quicker-than-expected recovery from a knee injury.

Jones has made three changes to his starting XV from the side that beat Italy in Round 3. The experimentation that the England coach allowed himself for the Italy game has been swiftly reversed which means that Ben Youngs is back at scrum, for Danny Care, and Jonathan Joseph is back at outside centre for Ben Te'o.

Scotland: Hogg; Seymour, Jones, Dunbar, Visser; Russell, Price; Wilson, Watson, Barclay (capt), J Gray, R Gray, Fagerson, Brown, Reid. Watson's place in the reserves was given to uncapped Edinburgh flanker Cornell Du Preez.

England are 2/9 with Sky Bet to extend their 17 match winning run against Scotland (7/2) at Twickenham.

Vern Cotter's side trailed at the break against the Welsh before rallying in the second-half to claim a sensational 29-13 victory to keep their own title hopes alive. He's one of our best players, but he's not ready to start yet. They are brimming with confidence but can they halt the English juggernaut?

"I think he ran into my dog". Based on that fact the Double Result - Scotland/England at 6/1 (Sky Bet) could be the way to go. "He's a doubt but he'll be alright". "All we've got to do is play well on Saturday, that's all we've got to worry about", Jones said, refusing to be drawn on what he views as extraneous concerns.

In two other changes announced by Jones on Thursday Jack Nowell will start on the right wing and Ben Youngs at scrumhalf. The unspoken message this week, accordingly, is that England can not bank on retaining their title unless they harden up mentally, crank up the intensity and bristle a little more.

"We've worked hard in this Six Nations and feel like a good performance is just around the corner. I don't need to tell you what the answer was".

Scotland find themselves in the unusual position of chasing down a Triple Crown heading into the penultimate round of Six Nations fixtures this weekend.

However, they have not won in London since 1983. George Ford and Owen Farrell again form their 10-12 partnership while Elliot Daly stays on the wing and Mike Brown remains at full-back. Jonny's brother Richie has made more tackles (41) than anyone else without missing one so far.
