White House defends Pence's use of private email while governor
INDIANAPOLIS -The Associated Press is being criticized for listing the email address of Vice President Mike Pence's wife's in a story about Pence's frequent resistance to public records requests while Indiana's governor.
"The publication of Mrs. Pence's active private email address to millions of your readers has subjected her to vitriolic and malicious emails and raised security concerns".
Vice President Pence on Saturday called on the Associated Press to apologize for publishing his wife's private email address in a story earlier this week.
Mike Pence has sent the AP a sternly worded letter after the wire service published the current personal email address of Karen Pence, reports Politico.
A rep for the AP responds that it "removed the email address from subsequent stories after learning Mrs. Pence still used the account".
