Disney's 'DuckTales' reboot gets a second season, and a trailer

Disney XD released the first trailer for the reboot below.

The first trailer for the Disney XD reboot of "DuckTales", which was many a kid's favorite cartoon in the late '80s to early '90s, came out Thursday.

Not only that, but they have already ordered a second season!

"DuckTales" is set to premiere this summer on Disney XD, and it is being voiced by an all-star cast of actors.

"The new series' adventures will once again take viewers along as Scrooge McDuck, his curious and mischief-making grandnephews-Huey, Dewey, and Louie-and the optimistic-yet-temperamental Donald Duck embark on high-flying adventures worldwide".

Huey, Dewey, and Louie have a great dynamic between them, and the show seems to capture the manic energy that defines the 3 young ducks - for real, they are nearly screaming in every scene. Tennant, playing a pitch-perfect Scrooge, is joined by Danny Pudi, Ben Schwartz, and Bobby Moynihan as Huey, Duey, and Louie, respectively.

Scotsman David Tennant, known for his work as the 10th doctor on the series "Doctor Who", and for his roles in "Broadchurch" and "Jessica Jones", will be voicing McDuck.

Check out the first trailer below, and witness the glory. As a huge fan of the original show, I am very excited for this modern retelling of Ducktales, and from the looks of it Disney is making all the right choices.

As it was announced late a year ago, the upcoming animated show has a full cast - who you can hear in action above - with none other than David Tennant (Doctor Who) voicing Scrooge McDuck, and Danny Pudi, Ben Schwartz, and Bobby Moynihan playing the trio of younger ducks.
