Robin Thicke & Paula Patton Custody Drama - Police Called

Paula Patton and Robin Thicke have been in the midst of an ugly custody battle, and things don't seem to be getting any better.

The Thicke source says Patton, 41, arrived an hour late to the location and refused to send her son off with the court-appointed monitor. Sources close to Paula told TMZ that Robin was at the Malibu park and violated the restraining order by being too close to Paula when she arrived with her son.

Police were called to the scene but arrived after Julian and Patton had already left.

The source close to the situation says Patton "was on time" on the drop off and that there was no accident. However, other sources say that Thicke remained in his auto the entire time. The moderator is going between them and Robin is sitting in his auto, doing as he's directed.

Sources close to Robin Thicke claim that he was aware Patton has a restraining order, but he never came close to her.

Los Angeles police first became involved in the spat in January, when the singer accompanied officers to Paula's home after she claimed their kid was "scared" of Robin and didn't want to go with his father for his custody visit.

Paula now has a restraining order against her ex-husband that requires him to keep his distance from and her mother. "The saddest part about this is that was his only time to see Julian". "What happens is, when Paula goes to hand off Julian to Robin, she is supposed to hand him off to a monitor".

"Paula was not an hour late", a source close to the actress tells Us Weekly. "So he showed up despite the court order, and then Julian said he didn't want to go with his dad as soon as he saw him, so that's why the hand-off didn't end up happening".

Otherwise, the order dictates Thicke must stay 100 yards away from Patton, Julian and Patton's mother.
