The popular micro-brew franchise announced a new site in the Ballston neighborhood (yes in one of the 50 new sky-rise buildings) that will open its doors in July of 2012. The website of the new location announced a change its application to include outdoor seating and live entertainment.
WOB generally focuses on a number of smaller breweries (smaller quadrant of Dr. Phillip Howard’s visualization of beer owners) as well as featuring musical artists and sporting events.
The Tampa based company has sites across Florida, the Carolinas and Georgia and will be expanding to the Mid-Atlantic region with its first store in Virginia this summer. All of this is exciting news as the one thing Northern Virginia is short on is places for bros to kick back and down a few beers.
